My photographic series Lost Venice will be exhibited on August 30th in Los Angeles alongside two performances by Vardan Ovsepian’s chamber ensemble VOCE.

Vardan Ovsepian is an extraordinary pianist and composer whose work bridges classical composition and jazz improvisation. For this performance, VOCE will present a new composition inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. My Lost Venice images will accompany the music, offering a visual echo of the story’s themes of longing, memory, and the impossibility of return.

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Vardan for years, and I’m honored to have my work in conversation with his chamber ensemble for one magical evening.
